I feel like throwing in the towel

I came here for my son, they disappeared him in 2010. I live in the neighbourhood of San Francisco in Buenaventura. I don’t know why they disappeared him, or when, or at what time. Since they disappeared him and killed two more of my children, my life has been very hard. I’m still alive thanks to God and the strength the Church gives me. Sometimes I feel like throwing in the towel and dying.

I have come as an act of homage to the victims and it’s very beautiful because all of the people here, we are fighting for them to give us back the remains of our loved ones, dead or alive.

I hope that with this peace, our children and their whereabouts will come to light, that’s my hope.
