All field volunteers in the PBI Colombia project must be able to work competently in Spanish (spoken and written levels will be assessed throughout the application process). Accordingly, the application process is in Spanish.

Working as an international observer for PBI Colombia offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the field of international human rights. The volunteer will work in one of the teams in Bogotá, Barrancabermeja or Urabá, accompanying human rights defenders and communities who are being threatened because of their legitimate work in support of justice and peace.
