Men and women have suffered from the violence of the armed conflict and the political violence that has besieged Colombia; nevertheless, women’s suffering has almost always been invisible. But the violence has not destroyed their bravery. PBI has talked to women leaders all around Colombia for this special edition on women human rights defenders.
